USCG Station Burlington is located on the Vermont side of the Eastern Shore of Lake Champlain. The station provides the Lake Champlain area with Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement and Ice Rescue services. The station also maintains the buoys and aids to navigation located on the Lake. Burlington's area of responsibility includes all of Lake Champlain, Coast Guard Auxillary co-ordination for Lake George and Lake Scanadaga, and aids to navigation on Lake Memphramagog in northern Vermont.
