The Family Child Care office, located at Building 386 on Golf Course Road, can help you find quality child care in a home setting.
This office maintains a listing of licensed child care providers at Scott AFB. All homes have been approved by the Support Group Commander to offer child care in on-base and off base quarters.
Child care providers offer quality care in a warm, loving environment. Children of active duty military or civilian employees ages 2 weeks to 12 years are eligible for care. No more than six children may be cared for at one time with only two children under the age of two. This number includes the provider's own children under eight years old.
All providers attend special classes, are certified in infant/child CPR and first aid, attain liability insurance, and have current satisfactory rating from specific base agencies.
