Customer service/sensitivity training is needed as well as communication re: updated policies. They often come across unfriendly & like they are exploiting their "powerful" position. A simple, "I understand... it can be a frustrating process, but it keeps us safe." That can be a huge salve to a frustrating situation. I know customers can be difficult, even impossible. But I expect the military member to be the professional here and I often find employees here have a real chip on their shoulder.
