Housing on the Bahrain economy for all ranks is excellent. There is no on-base housing at NSA Bahrain except barracks. E-5 and above permanently assigned personnel reside on the economy. OHA/LQA is authorized and will adequately cover the cost of rent and utilities. Upon arrival, military personnel are authorized up to 45 days temporary lodging allowance (TLA) and DOD civilians are authorized up to 60 days of TQSA.
