The Child Development Center (CDC) at NS Mayport will cover all your needs. The CDC provides full time care for infants six weeks to five years of age. They offer two full size facilities with hourly care available at both centers, based on space availability. Activities that your child will be given the opportunity to participate in include: creative art, music, fine and gross motor development, sand and water play, songs and finger play, story time, promotion of a positive self-image, readiness skills for math, reading, and writing, dramatic play and many activities to promote positive social skills. You are invited to tour the facilities or visit your child at any time during the day. On the last Monday and Tuesday of every month at the CDC Bldg. 1960 , we have "Give Parents a Break" which is a program designed for parents to have a night to themselves free of kids.
