The Voluntary Education Program at Barstow MCLB provides personal and professional learning opportunities to the Marine Corps community. These programs provide Marines with opportunities to earn college degrees through a variety of options. The program’s mission is to provide continual academic support to Marines while they pursue a technical or college degree, regardless of their location or duty station. The Education and Career/Technical programs offered include: Tuition Assistance, Montgomery and Post 9/11 G.I. Bill, SMART/JST (Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcripts/Joint Services Transcript, USMAP (United Service Apprenticeship Programs) and DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education Support).
