The mission of Marine Wing Communications Squadron MWCS-18 on Camp Foster, is to provide expeditionary communications for the deployed Aviation Combat Element (ACE) Command Element (CE) of a Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and its supporting Marine Air Command and Control System (MACCS) including the phased deployment of task-organized elements thereof.
