New Parent Support Program (NPSP) at Camp Lejeune is located at Midway Park Marine & Family Services Annex. The New Parent Support Program is a professional team of licensed social workers, counselors and registered nurses who provide educational and supportive services to military families on Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River. From the early stages of pregnancy to the development of your child up thru age 5, this program can better prepare you for parenthood. The trained, supervised staff has extensive knowledge of the issues encountered by today's parents. The team is sensitive to the unique challenges facing military families. They can help families cope with stress, isolation, pre and post deployment, homecoming reunions, and the everyday demands of parenting in the military. New ages and stages in child development bring different challenges. NPSP offers you the opportunity to express your concerns and ask questions about babies, young children and family relationships.
All active duty personnel and family members who are expecting a child or have at least one child age 5 or under are eligible.
