Marine Aircraft Group MAG-36

The Marine Aircraft Group 36 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma maintains the 1st MAW's rotary-wing aircraft, air control and aviation ground support assets. These include the CH-53 Super/Sea Stallion and a combination of CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters and the MV-22 Osprey. The AH-1W Cobra attack helicopters, UH-1N Huey helicopters and KC-130J Super Hercules, also stationed at MCAS Futenma, provide a powerful combination of firepower and assault support.
