2D MAW

The 2D Marine Aircraft Wing (2nd MAW) of the II Marine Expeditionary Force is stationed on MCAS Cherry Point. The mission of the MAW is to conduct air operations in support of the Marine Forces to include offensive air support, antiwar warfare, assault support, aerial reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and control of aircraft and missiles.
