The Personal Financial Management Program (PFMP) at MCAS Beaufort helps individuals achieve financial success through education, training, counseling and information and referral to build financial confidence and alleviate stress. PFMP provides one-on-one training, group classes and unit training for numerous topics including:
Budgeting
Consumer awareness
Credit reports
Saving and retirement planning
Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and Blended Retirement System (BRS)
Home and car buying
Command Financial Specialist (CFS) Training
CFS is a principal advisor to their command on personal financial management. In order to become a CFS, service members must be pay grade E6 and above for enlisted and W2/O1 and above for officers.
