Lake Martin at Maxwell AFB offers a place for you to enjoy a day of picnics, camping, kayaking or other boating, and lakeside fun! There are grills, RV sites with water and electric hookups, rentable cabins and boats, and a fishing pier. Only military personnel are permitted to stay, including Active duty, Retired, Reservists, DoD, Retired DoD and DoD Contractors.
Make reservations at Outdoor Recreation, building 851, Mon-Fri, 1000-1600, or by phone at 334-953-3509. Active duty personnel may make reservations six months in advance; all others four months. There is a $15 cancellation fee charged when a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of your scheduled check-in date. Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in will result in a non-refundable one night rent stay. This policy also applies to guests that leave before their scheduled departure date. Must call Lake Martin for late check-in.
