Retiree Activities Office

The Retiree Activities Office (RAO) is made up of an all-volunteer staff. Our mission is to serve as an information center and a support system for retired military veterans of all branches of service.

Our Contact Information
The Retiree Activity Office (RAO) at MacDill AFB is located between the Commissary and the Main Base Exchange. A Satellite Facility is located in the Food Court of the Main Base Exchange.

RAO counselors provide general consultation and referral on a wide range of issues such as retiree pay and benefits, survivor benefits (SBP), ID card renewal, will- making, space-A travel, and more. We also prepare death notice reports and provide information on burial and national cemeteries.
