Thrift Shop & Uncle Sam's Attic

The Okinawa Enlisted Spouses' Club (OESC) Thrift Store & Uncle Sam's Attic is a non-profit organization governed by the Okinawa Enlisted Spouses' Club. The money raised by the Thrift Store is given to the OESC and then in turn supports both the Japanese and American Charities. They accept applications for funds directly to the OESC from on base and off base organizations. Also, they pool our money with other Spouses' clubs on- island via the American Women's Welfare Association (AWWA). Through AWWA, they support 20 on-island and 20 off-island Japanese charitable organizations.
