The base is located about 15 minutes from the city of Izmir, a modern and extremely large city on Turkey's western coast. Currently, Izmir is a 12-month unaccompanied assignment.
Base Transportation:
Transportation office handles shuttle bus services. Time and Pick up locations may change from time to time. Shuttle busses run between Swiss Hotel, Hilton Hotel and NATO compound.
