The 17th Medical Group (MDG) supports the 17th Training Wing in execution of Air Education and Training Command's mission.
The 17th Medical Group consist of two squadrons supporting a population of nearly 12,000 students, permanent party personnel, retirees and dependents. With over 200 staff, the clinic provides a robust array of primary care services to include student health, family care, pediatrics, women's health and flight medicine.
The medical group also provides dental care and offers other services such as physical therapy, immunizations, and optometry.The 17th Medical Operations Squadron (MDOS) provides primary care to TRICARE-enrolled patients at the medical group. The squadron is comprised of six flights providing Family Health, Dental Services, Public Health, Student Clinic, Flight Medicine, Physical Therapy, Bioengineering and Mental Health.
The 17th Medical Support Squadron (MDSS) consists of five flights providing Resource Management, TRICARE Operations, Patient Administration, Medical Readiness, Information Management, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, and Logistics.
