The Visitor Center at Ft Wainwright is located just outside the Main Gate. There is a 100% ID check at all Fort Wainwright gates at all times. Anyone aged 16 years and above must present a valid state or federally issued picture identification.

Kimberly RoeWhy do the officers that work in the visitor center have to be so rude? Every time my husband and I have been there, we are shocked at how inconsiderate, impolite and downright rude these young people are.
