The School Age Center (SAC) at Ft Wainwright is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation and serves children in Kindergarten through sixth grades. SAC provides before and after school care with age appropriate child centered activities. Stimulating activities are offered in a variety of environments which include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, games, technology, performing arts, science and a homework assistance program. A full size gymnasium is used by all ages for their physical development.
The program provides opportunities to participate in 4H and Boys & Girls Clubs of America activities. SAC is also open full time during the summer and during school breaks to offer camps with a variety of activities and field trips.
