Our Log Cabins are nestled in a secluded, wooded area surrounded by trees and greenery and share a wonderful common area featuring a large barbeque pit, picnic tables and small gazebo for group gatherings. For children, there is a playground that is visible from all of the cabins. We boast four one-bedroom with loft Log Cabins that sleep a max of six people for $75 per night; 13 two-bedroom with loft Log Cabins that sleep a max of eight people for $85 per night and seven Bungalows (1940 era officer housing) that have two bedrooms and sleep a max of six people for $85 per night.
The campground at Fort Story has a rustic, wooded, mountain feel to it with gravel roads, trees and a historical building that was recently renovated into a bathhouse and laundry facility. All sites are equipped with water, electricity, fire pits, and picnic tables. Sewage hook-ups are not included, however, there is a dump station located in the parking lot that is available for use at no charge.
