The JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake provides a wide variety of recreational activities that allow for outdoor fun on a year-round basis. The recreation park consists of 250 acres of the most beautiful lakefront property in the area. The park provides many different lodging, camping, equipment and activity options to ensure everyone has a great adventure in the outdoors. The park is open 365 days out of the year.
The Park offers 6 types of lodging to fill any need, from a one room Bunkhouse with 2 sets of bunk beds up to the fully furnished 3 bedroom Cottages. Lodging facilities are as follows: Bunkhouses, Bungalows, Park Cabanas, Lofts, Cabins and Cottages. ADA and pet-friendly units are available upon request.
Lodging
Reservations can be made for many facilities out at JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake. Lodging units, RV spaces and pavilions are all available for reservations. Reservations can be made 6 months in advance by active duty personnel, all other DOD cardholders may reserve 3 months in advance.
RV Park
The RV Park consists of 25 full-service sites as well as 12 additional sites with electricity only. Restrooms, laundry facilities and dump stations are available.
Camping
There are over 200 sites available to camp throughout the park. Camping area include picnic table, fire rings and BBQ grills. Public restroom facilities available.
