The Medal of Honor Memorial Library at Fort Meade offers patrons access to:

Copy and print services - 10 black and white pages per day per patron
Register for an account at the library front desk. After registering, you can use the catalog to manage your account. My Account allows you to renew and request books, access online content, create wish lists, write reviews, and request books while deployed.
Loan Privileges
Borrowing privileges are generally extended to those who have an affiliation with either the Department of Defense or Fort Meade itself. All material is checked out for a period of three weeks with two renewals allowed provided it is not on reserve for another patron. Lost or damaged material must be reported and restitution made in accordance with AR 735-17, Property Accountability, Accounting for Library Materials. When the Library is closed, material may be returned in the outside book drop.

Online Catalog
For first-time users, click on “New to My Account” in order to acquire a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You must ensure that the email address you enter to create your PIN is the same email address you submitted to the Library when you registered as a borrower. Once your PIN is established, this enables to renew your own books or request materials can then be be purchased.
With an AKO account, a number of academic databases can be accessed. On the AKO homepage, https://www.us.army.mil/suite/designer, click on the “Self Service” pull down box and then click on “My Library.”
The Library has 16 computer stations with Common Access Card (CAC) readers and internet access. They are not on the .mil network.
A scanner and a fax machine are available for public usage at no cost.
