The Middle School & Teen Program at Fort Jackson operates out of the Youth Center. As a Boys & Girls Club affiliate and 4-H partner, the MS/Teen Program offers age appropriate activities for youth in 6th through 12th grade.
Middle & High School After School Program
No cost after school program for middle & high school youth
Transportation and snacks are provided
Homework assistance is available
Activities include cooking, sports, game room play, recording, rock wall climbing, photography, computer lab access, and weekly field trips.
Hours are Monday - Friday 2:30 to 6 p.m.
After 6 p.m., if additional care is needed, youth can remain
MS/Teen Open Recreation Program
Hours: Mon—Thurs. 3 - 9 p.m., Friday, 3 - 10 p.m., Sat. 1 - 10 p.m.
Homework assistance is available
Technology Lab offers computer training as well as other educational activities
Keystone club meets twice a month
*Keystone club focuses on academic success, community service, career and education.
Basketball practice, movie night, creative arts, and cooking are some additional activities offered.
MS/Teen Workforce Preparation Program
Year round employment opportunities working at the center and various other MWR activities
Youth ages 14 through Rec Aid job
Apply at Non appropriated Fund Personnel Office in Strom Thurmond Building
Participate in Boys & Girls Clubs of America Career Launch Program
The MST Program also provides transportation to "MST registered teens" from the
following schools:
