The Solomon Center at Fort Jackson opened in 1997. It is a one of a kind facility located on Strom Thurmond Boulevard. The Solomon Center is home to Andy’s Fitness Center, Victory Travel, The Retail Zone, and Jack's Frame Shop.
The Special Events Area boasts a spacious 2,800 person seating capacity where ceremonies, concerts, sporting events and special events such as the Army Soldier Show are held. Other events include Community Awareness Day, Retiree Appreciation Day, Basic Training Graduation Family Days, wedding receptions and Ethnic functions. The Special Events Area can also be divided into smaller conference and meeting areas which are available for private and command functions.
The Solomon Center can also provide tables, chairs, audio/visual & PA-sound system equipment for in house use only. Catering is offered by both the Officer's Club and NCO Club. Rental fees are based on space required, time, and affiliation and can be scheduled with the Solomon Center Events Coordinator.
