Gate 2 is considered the Main Gate entrance to Ft Jackson. It is open 24/7 to in/outbound traffic.
Vehicle gate passes: These are no longer required to gain entrance to Ft. Jackson but Be aware you must have Drivers license, vehicle registration and insurance to show the gate guards. You must also have ID for all persons over the age of 18 ( 16 if they look like they are 18 or older, bring it just in case) that are in the vehicle. If you are driving a rental car have your DL and the rental agreement.
Please remember to adhere to post driving rules- no cell phones while driving, go the posted speed limit and stay out of restricted areas and above all please show the proper respect for all of those soldiers and their families who call Ft. Jackson home as we are their guests.
