Not a man to brag, one would never know Art Petit is a Sunshine Games Gold medal recipient with over 21 years experience in archery, placing second in the Senior Olympics. In addition to this amazing accomplishment, Mr. Petit has competed in and won numerous tournaments over the course of his career. Although archery is quickly becoming a competitive sport, it is still one in which the whole Family can participate and now is the time to take advantage of having such an accomplished instructor here at Fort Campbell.
Eager to advance his career in Outdoor Recreation, Mr. Petits goal is to pass on his knowledge and skills to the younger generation. Despite his many victories, he said, My most memorable accomplishment is assisting 10 Boy Scouts in receiving their merit badges.
To utilize the Archery Range, you must:
Be 10 years of age or older (17 and under require a parent/guardian to be present)
Call the Outdoor Recreation office at 270-798-2175 to check range availability
Visit the main Outdoor Recreation office to obtain a Fort Campbell Post Permit
Bring valid post permit to Outdoor Recreation to pick up an area assignment before using the Archery Range
ARCHERY LESSONS
Private lessons are offered on an appointment basis. This is a great opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction from the greatest archer Fort Campbell has to offer! Lessons range from beginner to advanced levels of instruction.
