The Roberto Loeza Soldier Activity Center, the first of its kind in the Army, is located on East Bliss. This new 25,000-square-foot facility is equipped with a 20-foot climbing and bouldering wall, a library/study center, a 4,000-square-foot outdoor pool with a patio deck, a game room, a multipurpose recreation room, and Wi-Fi accessibility. There is even a quaint area for a quick bite to eat at the Cliffhanger Café, which serves salads, grab-and-go sandwiches, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages.
The SAC is also the home of ITR, where travel and Ticketmaster inquiries can be addressed, and the Unit Funds Program. Southwest Adventure, the Fort Bliss outdoor recreation program, extends their services to Soldiers with equipment rentals and sign-ups for adventure trips. The SAC is also home of the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program.
For more fun, check out the game room - it features eight Xbox stations, 16 computer stations with Internet access, four Alienware gaming computers Wi-Fi access, multiple televisions, fun lighting and music, and more. Check out video games for in-room use (ID required).
