The Fairchild AFB Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) has staff members who are financial counselors; some have national certification. Financial counselors are available for individual/family counseling for guidance on spending plan (budget), savings, TSP/retirement plans, auto purchase, off-base move, relocation planning, marriage, new baby, credit issues, emergency assistance, and more. Feel free to bring any money related questions you have.
The Personal Financial Readiness Program hosts the Moving Off Base Class with is recommended at least 2 months prior to move out of dorms. Call to register.
The Personal Financial Readiness Program also offers tax preparation services. The A&FRC has a list of offices which provide assistance with tax preparation.
