The full service Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson library connects customers and information. JBER Library is located in the Education Center, on the first floor of Bldg. 7, JBER-Richardson side. In addition to fiction and non-fiction titles for all (adult, young adults, juvenile, and children) JBER Library offers audio books, ebooks, movies, and computer-based programs to meet your educational and recreational reading needs. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the facility. The computer lab houses 31 CAC enabled computers. The library also offers business services include scanners, local FAX, and printing.
Language studies are available through on-line databases or as material to check out. The Military Reading Room serves as a quiet place to study and houses military reading materials for all branches of service.
Programs are offered for all ages, including 5 preschool storytimes each week.
