Facilities include the main Outdoor Recreation Center at Post'l Point, Ben's Lake Marina, two Family Campgrounds, the base Pool, the Eglin Beach Park on Okaloosa Island, an RV Storage Lot, and the Vehicle Resale Lot.
The Outdoor Rec Center at Post'l Point is the hub for all your outdoor programs. Nature outings and overnight adventure trips are scheduled all throughout the year, with opportunities for mountain biking, rock climbing, zip-lining, swimming with manatees, hiking, bouldering, deep sea fishing, and even skydiving!
Back on location here at Eglin, outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, disc golf, archery, and paintballing are all facilitated for your enjoyment. Beginner's clinics for most activities are available to those who are looking to try something new. Classes for SCUBA diving, fishing, and dog obedience are also offered, taught by qualified professional instructors.
Outdoor Rec's rental operation houses a massive inventory of everything you need for enjoying the great outdoors. There's an abundance of camping equipment perfect for communing with nature; or, for conquering the elements, you'll find a full array of recreation and watersporting items available. Rent a pontoon boat for a day on the water with friends! Or take a leisurely paddle around the bay with a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddle board.
Throwing an outdoor event? Check out a bouncy castle, yard games, or other party rentals to make your occasion all the more memorable. Two large pavilions at Post'l Point are available for group events and private functions.
