Joint Base Charleston Child Development Centers are certified by the Department of Defense and are nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Each program strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Our programs provide a comprehensive training program that serves as a foundation to promote the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of children. Training and Curriculum Specialists frequent classrooms to observe, mentor and provide support to staff to ensure they meet high standards of quality care. Learning is promoted through hands-on opportunities and active play.
