The Buckley AFB 460th Force Support Squadron (FSS), aka MWR, supports a customer base of more than 88,000 including active duty military, air reserve and guard components, Department of Defense civilian, contractors, retired military and family members. The customer base includes the 460 SW and it's multi-service tenant units. The unit optimizes mission readiness by providing military and civilian personnel support, manpower management, professional military and civilian education support, military and family readiness support, professional enhancement services, as well as honor guard, mortuary, and casualty affairs support. Additionally, the unit operates morale, welfare and recreation programs including child development and youth programs, outdoor recreation activities, fitness programs, ticket and tours programs, as well as a lodging facility and family campground.
