Barksdale Pool

Outdoor recreation provides relief from the summer heat with the Barksdale Pool, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year on Barksdale AFB. The pool features a triple water slide, shaded seating, children’s pool, outdoor showers, clean restrooms and loads of fun.

Each year, the pool offers swimming lessons, recreational usage, as well as military lap swimming. Monthly and season passes are available at very reasonable rates or guests may pay daily. If you like the water and want to beat the Louisiana summertime triple digits, then visit the Barksdale Pool.
